Empuriabrava is a small town in the province of Girona, Spain. Furthermore, It is located in the Gulf of Roses and surrounded by the Natural Park of the Aiguamolls de l’Emporda and the largest residential marina in Europe.

Besides it, Empuriabrava was transformed into a touristic community. The town has more than 25 miles (40 km) of canals, and in the summer its population goes up to around 80.000 people.

In the middle of all those tourists’ places and leisure activities, we can find a drop zone. Skydive Empuriabrava is known in the whole world by skydivers, and it is in the top 5 best spots to skydive.

Drop Zone Skydive Empuriabrava:

The view from the airplane is impressive. It’s fantastic how easy can be to jump there just because of the peace that the landscape gives to you. Also, the canals put this place apart from the others. It’s so beautiful that is hard to describe. Luck us, we have a video to show all that adventure.

One thing that I couldn’t let to say is about the community. Everyone is super helpful and kind. People that work in the drop zone until the guy who makes pizza 2 miles away. They are always open to a good talk and to know you better. I believe that is because the culture in Spain.

The last point for this post is that Skydive Empuriabrava is the house of many great skydivers. There are there frequently during the year, and it is an excellent opportunity to jump with some of the most famous skydivers in the world or just to finally meet the athletes we look up to.

As a result, Empuriabrava is one of the places that I most like to go to skydive. Everything is so nice and beautiful and because of that, is very hard to leave.

Good Stuff about Skydive Empuriabrava:

The drop zone has 2 planes.
It’s open every day.
The staff is super friendly and helpful.
Excellent restaurant and convenience area.
Good AFF and Tandem Instructors and Cameramen.
A very safe place to do a tandem jump or skydive.
Load Organizers are often there.
The wind tunnel at 400 feet from the drop zone.
