Video Summary:

I’d say we’re about 40% into the overall storm, approaching the halfway point of Phase II. Temperatures are continuing to feather down, ranging from 27 in NNJ to about 31 in SNJ. Snow is continuing to dump. Monmouth County has broken the 10 inch mark. Winds are cranking but I’ve only seen gusts to 50mph with 20-30mph away from the ocean. This is good and should keep the near-blizzard or blizzard conditions close to the coast. We’re not out of Phase II yet though, so expect winds to continue building a bit as the low continues to deepen. We’re approaching the high tide of concern where moderate coastal flooding is now predicted, not low-end of major. Expect a little delay on the highest water level but so far so good. I’m going to crash after this video and try to get up for an 8-9am update which will close out phase II and discuss the rest of phase III. Have a great rest of your Sunday night and please be safe!
