The Fat Controller had bought a new engine from Scotland to help out with the extra work on his railway. But he was surprised to discover two engines waiting for him in the yards who were called Donald and Douglas. Every afternoon, Gordon steams in with the express with a special coach specially for Thomas to take with passengers travelling on his branch line. One day, Douglas had accidently stored the special coach with Gordon's express as he was thinking of an awful thought. What do you think would happen next?
