The first entry in a series documenting my winter landscape photography trip to the Scottish Highlands. In this episode, I'm heading north towards Assynt. Along the way I get soaked by a sleet storm at Loch Tulla and I scout Loch Maree first the first time. I don't spend long enough there though and this video starts a theme that stuck for the whole trip: I was always thinking of the next landscape, where if I had waited I could have bagged some spectacular images. Nonetheless, some images in this episode have potential and I took one with which I am happy.
