As much as I don't want to add to the fear and panic that is going on...I feel the need to help provide some insight for restaurant owners and restaurant management about what's to come.
Currently, Chinese restaurants around the globe has reported as much as 70% drop in sales due to the pandemic. At this moment, North America has only seen two dozen or so cases. But that's going to rise for sure.
Although Asian restaurants will get the initial brunt of the effect (people afraid of going out to eat), it will spill over to all restaurants and all businesses. That's because a virus knows no border and no skin colour. This means YOU need to be prepared when more and more people are fearful of going out to eat.
From looking at the situation in China and South Korea, I've compiled 5 ways that restaurants can survive the recession and disease.
I encourage you to take this video seriously if you run a restaurant, want to open a restaurant, operate a food business, or small business.
