I remember it was like in the movies when I saw you for the first time; it was a slow-mo scene. I saw my short film, my short role, my short life, and my life with you. It was not easy, and it was never designed to be easy.
It took a lot of Cuts and Retakes, A lot of love and grace. I remember while in the middle of our relationship na ang hirap nang ipagpatuloy, We were at the church that time, tayo lang dalawa and we just both cried to God in the middle of a cut, a deep wound, we prayed for guidance and grace to continue, to do a retake.
We chose to take the higher road of forgiveness.
We chose each other. sabi nga “sa pag ibig hiindi lang puro kilig at tawanan, may desisyon din at paninindigan.”
While we take the role of a husband and wife, I promise that God is still the Producer, Provider, Chief Author, Director of the path. I promise to protect you in public and correct you in private. I promise to uphold God’s law above us in sickness and health, from grace to grace, and glory to glory.
