What Really Happened to "Missing Scientist" Amy Eskridge?

On June 11th, 2022, Amy Catherine Eskridge died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the age of 34. That’s all we know…or at least it’s what we’ve been told. Beyond that, public records available on WhitePages show she was living at an address in Joppa, Alabama - and that this same address is also attributed to her father, retired NASA physicist Richard Eskridge. Beyond that, essentially nothing is known about Amy’s final moments, or even the years leading up to them. Without official answers, we are left with two options. We can accept the narrative that Amy chose to take her own life due to the chronic pain and alleged mental illness from which she suffered - in spite of the fact that she sent text messages to friends telling them that she had no intention of taking her own life and that if anyone were to claim she did so, they were lying. Or, we can look deeper into who Amy Eskridge was, unravel the bizarre web of stories which surround her life, work, and death, and determine for ourselves what the truth really is.
