For this week‘s Motivation Monday, Noelle gives some insights into what you can expect from these exams and shares how she prepared for both sections: Theory and Practical. 📝🍷
All past MW questions (including the past two years of entrance exam questions!) are published on the IMW website. 👩🏻💻Familiarize yourself with these! 🧐 Theory entrance exam questions are based on past MW questions.
For the Practical part of the entrance exam, candidates will be asked a range of questions about four wines. (Spoiler Alert: these wines have just been published on the IMW website!) 🤩Questions can be about variety, origin, quality level, winemaking techniques, commercial potential, etc. Think about how you would answer these types of questions about each of the four wines, AND how you would justify your answer by using evidence from what’s in your glass! 🤔
