This is the second of three videos focussing on the UK seaside resort of Morecambe. Starting at the Midland Hotel at the Stone Jetty on West Promenade and walking south to the end of the seafront and showing how the town looks in 2023 and harking back to how the town used to be in it's heyday.
Morecambe is a real sleeping giant of the UK seaside holiday resorts. And one that has an unbelievable amount of bad luck, misfortune, and underinvestment over the years with nearly all of its major attractions now closed, demolished and confined to the history books.
Join me in this video series as I uncover Morecambe's glorious past and see why so many people used to go there on holiday. I think you might be in for a few surprises!
