Yep, the MKDD online mod by Kirbymimi now supports Wii and Wii U (in addition to GameCube and Dolphin) using a custom version of Nintendont! What a time to be alive. Get the mod at the GameCube Online Discord:   / discord  

Mxy on the left playing on Wii U, An Uncle Named Moe ‪@nessaisoffline‬ on the right playing on Wii, and ‪@ragread‬ playing on real GameCube with the Broadband Adapter and hosting. Note that we're in three different countries across two continents and this still worked pretty awesomely (though you MIGHT notice Mxy struggling with the inter-continental lag during Rainbow Road...). The game did crap out on us once during Baby Park, as seen at 32:40, but at least it looked hilarious. Keep an eye on Moe's channel for some more races from this session: ‪@nessaisoffline‬
