Best Friends — Kanab, Utah

Описание: My goodness, where do you keep all the moisture in Utah? Coming from humid Houston, I couldn't believe how dry it is here. I don't know which weather I like better—my skin has never been so dry, but the lack of humidity keeps my hair looking great! I think Utah wins. 😁

I visited Best Friends, and I couldn't believe how gorgeous it was. The sanctuary sits on nearly 5,800 acres in Angel Canyon. It originally started on a smaller property before expanding over the years. (More on the history later!) I visited the piggies, horses, donkeys, and, of course, the kitties. I'll visit the doggies on another day and take a deeper dive into the organization. I'm fascinated by how it was founded and where it is today.

The kids took turns exploring the area. GB and I found a cool spot to enjoy the scenery. It had a sign that said, "No Dogs." Good thing GB is a kitty. 😛
