The Central University of Gujarat (CUG) has released its official notification (No. A&E/005/2026) inviting online applications for admission to Ph.D. programmes for the Academic Year 2026-2027. Established by an Act of Parliament of India (No. 25 of 2009) and accredited with NAAC A+ grade, the university is located at PO Kundhela, Taluka Dabhoi, District Vadodara, Gujarat. The online application process commences on 22/07/2026 at 10:00 a.m. and the closing date for submission is 02/08/2026 up to 11:55 p.m. Interested and eligible candidates must apply strictly online through the official admission portal at https://cugadm.samarth.edu.in/ before the deadline, as no offline or late applications will be entertained. Candidates may apply for a maximum of two Ph.D. programmes against a single application fee.

Application Fee Details: General/OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidates are required to pay ₹1000/- (for two Ph.D. programmes), SC/ST/Transgender category candidates are required to pay ₹500/-, while the application fee is Not Applicable for Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.
