In this video, we bring back to life a true cycling classic – the Rixe Champion de France from 1967.
This bicycle is part of German frame-building history: a steel lugged frame, elegant road racing geometry, and a unique design inspired by French racing traditions.
 Restoration process:

• Complete disassembly of the bicycle and cleaning of every single part.
• Frame restoration: rust removal, careful polishing of the paint, and preservation of the original decals.
• Overhauling the bottom bracket, headset, and hubs for a smooth ride.
• Restoration of the original Weinmann brakes and Huret derailleurs, typical for the mid-60s.
• Installation of a new vintage-style handlebar tape.
• Gentle conservation of the original Brooks leather saddle.
