Animal Series – Episode 18 : Highland Cow
This video captures the creation of a Highland Cow using pouring art and textured techniques.
I started by cutting thick paper into horn shapes, attaching them to the canvas,
and painting them with Gesso.
Using a pouring art blowing technique, I expressed the flowing texture of the fur.
To add depth, I sculpted the nose area with modeling paste,
then refined the details gently with a brush.
Some steps were not recorded —
after the blowing process, I used end of the brush to subtly shape fur textures along the edges, enhancing movement and life.
A calm, intuitive art process.
No rush — just watch the artwork slowly come to life.
