WALKING THE WAINWRIGHTS - MELLBREAK, EASY ROUTE.
The Easy(ish) route to the summit of Mellbreak on the 4th April 2024.
I'm pretty unfit (but working on it!) and so it took me 4.5 hours total, broken into 2.5 hours of actual walking and 2 hours of sitting and eating sandwiches.
I made a 2024 News Years Resolution to "Get Fit" and hike the top ten highest peaks in the LakeDistrict - quickly to find that I was really unfit and the highest peaks weren't possible in 2024.
So guess what - next year I'm going to do the top 25 mountains !
Follow along as I get fitter and improve my mountain skills little by little...
