Full morning show from Deerfield Media's station in Vail, Colorado. Recorded on Friday, March 28, 2025, this is the last day of operations for the station.

For the most part, Deerfield Media is a company that owns stations on behalf of Sinclair Broadcast Group, while Sinclair operates them. This is because FCC regulations limit the number of stations Sinclair can own in any one market, so companies like Deerfield are used to extend their reach.

However, Deerfield has (or had) two rare ventures in which they ran the stations themselves without the involvement of Sinclair. These two stations were in resort communities in the Intermountain West region of the United States: a now-defunct station in Park City, Utah, Park City Television, and this operation in Vail. The Park City station was shut down in 2022 and TV8 met a similar fate this week. The official reason given was that the lease for the studios expired, and Deerfield declined to renew. Deerfield had acquired TV8 from Vail Resorts in 2021.

The station produced this lifestyle and advertorial program along with some Spanish-language programming. Much of the rest of the station's programming consisted of syndicated lifestyle and news shows such as AgDay, U.S. Farm Report, Daily Flash, Democracy Now!, and Off Beat Cinema.

The station was the only local station in Vail, otherwise a part of the vast Denver market. Stations there do not regularly cover this area as it is over 90 miles away.

The final episode consisted of interviews with past guests and hosts as they welcomed back one last time to look back and sign the show, and station, off for good.
