South Korea is exploring a host of stabilization measures as are its global partners in a bid to better address the economic fallout of the events in the Middle East.
And speaking about the economy South Korea's parliament today also passed a bill that paves the path for investment in the U.S.
For more I have Steven Borowiec with Japanese weekly news magazine Nikkei Asia.

1) Steven, let's begin with details regarding South Korea's plan to impose a fuel price cap for the first time in three decades.

2) Sebastien, for the sake of comparison, do briefly tell us a bit about the impact of soaring oil prices for Europe.

3) Sebastien, Mr. Putin says "Russia is ready to conditionally supply oil and gas to Europe" given the unrest in the Middle East.
Is this offer a viable option for Europe?

4) Steven, back here in South Korea.
President Lee Jae Myung has also suggested an extra budget to counter the economic fallout from the violence in the Middle East.
Do tell us more.

5) Sebastien, also on the local front.
The National Assembly today passed a bill that paves the path for South Korea's planned $350 billion investment in the U.S.
What more can you share, and how does the parliamentary approval look to advance trade ties between the allies?

6) Steven, beyond their trade ties, with regard to their defense alliance, American magazine Newsweek claims "the U.S. is moving one of its critical anti-ballistic missile air defense systems from South Korea to the Middle East."
What have you been hearing here on the ground?

7) Sebastien, authorities here have been quick to dismiss concerns over deterrence amid talk of relocating U.S. assets in South Korea to the Middle East.
What's your take on tensions here on the peninsula amid the unrest in the Middle East?

8) Moving forward, Steven, the question on many people's minds here and elsewhere right now is does the U.S. have an exit strategy for its operation in Iran.
