This very interesting OLD SCHOOL film was shot in the San Francisco Bay area in 1974 at multiple film labs and follows methods of processing celluloid film before the days of magnetic tape, digital tape or digital streaming. This film showcases the equipment at the heart of celluloid film processing lab. These are the state-of-the-art machines that streamlined the development process in the 1960s until the media's gradual decline in the late 1970s. Today there has been a resurgence of sorts that seems to be taking place in old celluloid film use as new film labs using old equipment seem to be cropping up and artists clinging to the romance of old film are using it more frequently in both the United States and abroad.
