In 2012, I cycled 2,500 km across Mongolia, riding from Ulaanbaatar to Altai Taven - Bogd National Park in 45 days. With no reservations and no fixed route, I relied only on a compass, GPS, and a paper map. I carried basic equipment — no water filtration system, no stove, no pots. Just the essentials, a bicycle, and the open steppe ahead of me. I rode to overcome fear, to challenge myself on unfamiliar terrain, and to inspire others to live their dreams. To explore is to step beyond our comfort zones — because true freedom is often found in nature, far from certainty and routine.
Along the way, I met many kind Mongolians who welcomed me not as a stranger, but as a friend. Their generosity and warm hospitality kept me moving forward when the journey felt overwhelming. This journey taught me that freedom isn’t something you wait for. It’s something you find when you face your fears and keep riding toward the dream. The video is finally open to the public after 15 years. I hope to share more interesting videos in the future. Thank you for watching.
