I just don't understand how a kid. .
Could grow up, just to feel like this.

Every DAY I'm questioning the effort we put forth into our existence
Because I was told that it would be fine.
That we would understand one day when we're older.

I'm not sure when that happens
Because I fail to understand my place in the world & wonder if I hopped on board the wrong vessel.

& it until lately it's been unlike me to say that
Maybe it's time for me to jump ship.
If I do,
I hope you find what you deserve
& that the light doesn't sink to deep
I hope you don't lose sight of everything you were made to be.
You have the brightest future I've had the chance to see & wish you knew.
