Today’s Speaker: The Rev. Tom Rosiello is in his seventh year as Minister of our UU Fellowship, having been appointed in 2019 as the Fellowship’s first minister. He and his partner visited SMA regularly for nearly ten years before deciding on moving here in 208. A graduate of Harvard Divinity School and Suffolk University Law School, Rev. Rosiello has always been active in a variety of social justice causes, ranging from AIDS and gay rights to poverty and prison reform. In addition to being our active UU Minister, he is also Minister Emeritus of The First Parish of Stow and Acton in Massachusetts.
Today’s Music Marion Halliday, a native Kentuckian and lifelong musician, began performing her original music in 2016, an urban-influenced, modern folk concoction which reflects her bluegrass and bourbon-infused roots. Her first solo full-length album, Rings Around Saturn, debuted at #3 on US/International folk radio charts (FAI) when it was released. Marion has appeared as a featured artist on scores of radio shows, festivals, and other venues across the US as well as in the UK and Europe. She was named ‘One of the Ones to Watch’ by the Nashville Songwriters Association on multiple occasions in recent years. Marion’s music is available on all streaming platforms; for information on upcoming shows, visit Marion’s website at marionshalliday.com
With video contribution from Malcolm Halliday and Olga Rogach, Duo Piano; and Morganna Love, vocalist with Mauro Ledesma on piano.
