October is Black History Month, a time to promote knowledge and understanding of Black history and culture, and to celebrate the positive role Black people have played in shaping British society.
We were proud to sit down with three inspiring Black athletes from the University of Glasgow — Rachael, Rachel, and Owen — for an honest and powerful conversation.
They shared their personal journeys, what Black History Month means to them, how they got into coaching, and the challenges they've faced along the way.
