My name is Wayne Tindall. I lost the love of my life Anne to cancer very recently and my first born son 3 years ago to a drug overdose.
I am going through an extraordinary process of grief and grieving.
Anne and I were a filmmaking team, I feel compelled to make a revealing and powerful documentary to help others around the world come through this process a little less battled scarred.
I've been on a film documentary journey, sailing around Malaysia and beyond to find healing and a discover a new reality now widowed after 52 years marriage.
I set sail with Frank our kind hearted skipper several weeks ago to explore Malaysia and Thailand and then join a Rally that is sailing around Malaysia and beyond.
I was honoured to be sailing with Frank. He is the journey maker. My journey is uncertain.
My journey was suddenly cut short as I raced back to Melbourne to be with my remaining son who ended up in emergency after attempting to take his own life. Such is the nature of intense grief and the curse of volatile Irishmen.
