Old age pensioners, widows protest against Social Welfare Deptt over non-disbursal of pension

Описание: Hundreds of old age pensioners, widows, and deserted Women today protested against the Social Welfare Department inside office of the District Social Welfare Officer Amphalla, Jammu. They claimed that they have not been given a monthly pension by the government over the past few months. Social worker Onkar Singh who was also present in the protest condemned this. Meanwhile, District Social Welfare Officer, Jammu Mamta Rajput said that this problem is arising due to the recent change in the guidelines by the government. She assured resolution with the necessary steps.
