Описание: N4BERS is the integrated tidal marine turbine with the erosion breakwater for power generation using tidal and coastal currents. This is a university-industry collaboration project between ACTS Smart Solutions Sdn Bhd (Spin-off Company of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia) with the National Hydraulic Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM). The N4BERS block is attached to a submerged coastal protection system name WABCORE developed by NAHRIM. It is a part of a 4-function coastal protection structure for Breakwater, Energy generator, Reef restoration, and Sediment deposition. The N4BERS block was successfully developed and installed at Pantai Rhu Muda, Marang, Terengganu, on October 3-4, 2018. The maximum power output for power generation is 15 Watts/turbine.
