Please note that this is not a highly technical film on motorcycling or the life of Mr. Clark Gable and his associates. It is more about one part of his story of motorcycling and bringing it to those who are not familiar with these times, in order that they may have a better understanding of times gone by.

There are many amazing, in-depth documentary films on YouTube about Clark, which I would encourage you to seek out if you have some interest.

Some locations, machines shown, etc. may not be the actual ones used by Clark and his comrades, but they still represent the artistic expression needed to fit the narrative, and many are of the same nostalgic era.

Unfortunately, we do not possess the big budgets of many, so actually being able to film some of the bikes from this era is virtually impossible. However, if you are in a position to offer us the opportunity to film motorcycles from the 1940's and 1950s or have footage you would care to share, it would be most welcome. Likewise, if you are in possession of motorcycle riding films from these decades that you would gladly like to donate to the making of better-quality films and to supporting small local filmakers, then that would also be very appreciated. For instance, trying to find any video footage of motorcyclists riding through Los Angeles and, in particular, Hollywood in the 1940s and 1950s turns up no real-tangeable results. Of course, our detective skills may need some improvement.

Clark had a little less known side that was all about speed and the enjoyment and thrill he found when riding a motorcycle, especially with his friends from the "Spit and Polish" club in those early days of Hollywood.
