Government extends fuel levy relief for two months

Описание: National Treasury has announced the extension of the temporary reduction in the general fuel levy of R1,50. Without this, the already high petrol price would have risen to above R25 for 95 Unleaded petrol.

The Department of Minerals, Resources and Energy has announced that both grades of petrol will see an increase of between R2,33 and R2,43 a litre. Diesel will cost between R1, 07 cents and R1,10 cents more a litre. Paraffin goes up by R1, 56 a litre, and LPG gas decreases by 51 cents a kilogramme.
