Описание: Hello! I hoped you enjoyed this video. Here’s a few questions I had before I moved in

How big can a rug be?:
ours is a 5 x 7 but you can fit probably a 5 x 12 but nothing wider than 5ft

What is the length from the top of the bed to the ceiling?:
it’s 48 inches about the length of a mainstays full length mirror

How tall is underneath the bed? :
It’s about 2.5 feet tall a 3 Drawer shelf does not fit under the bed. Because there is a  ledge that sticks out. Ours has its feet off just to fit under the desk. A 2 drawer shelf is best

What room had the lake view?:
Any room with an odd number

What will it be like to share a semi private bath?:

Totally fine! If your friendly with your cluster mates it’s like sharing a bathroom with your friends it’s really no big deal and not the end of the world! Make sure to communicate shower times every one gets their own cubby :)

What is it like to live in a cluster?:
It’s like a mini apartment, everyone has their own rooms but with a shared living room and bath room. Mcmahon is a lot of fun because of this. Make sure to take advantage of having a bigger space it’s the only place on campus with a balcony and a living room!

Is McMahon really as bad as people say it is?:
No absolutely not, everyone’s living experience is different and you are entitled to your own opinions. The first few months I lived in McMahon I was pretty bummed I didn’t get a “nice dorm” but there is so many pro’s to McMahon, the living set up is amazing, it’s cheap the newer dorms are about 2 times as much, the view is amazing on the lake side! It’s a very social building people want to make friends and if you know someone usually you meet their cluster mates too! It’s in an amazing part of campus I personally prefer north campus. I’m a (business major) so most of my classes are extremely close to me. Plus north campus is safer. Lastly it’s super homey the vibes here are great regardless of its prison like exterior.

Big takeaway!
McMahon has no KITCHENS Only a sink and a microwave! For anyone who likes to cook this will suck. That is my biggest draw back of McMahon. I want to cook food sometimes and am not really able to. I have a skillet and a wok but it’s hard because the table is so small. If this is a make or break please know there are NO KITCHENS in the building.

Lastly! I wish you all well, your first days and months at college will be filled with a lot of ups and downs. It’s ok to feel weird for a bit. Just know your not the only one and are deserving of this opportunity to go to such an amazing school!
