A prayer for God’s protection, taken from the hymn Light Serene of Holy Glory, a 3rd verse that I took the liberty of writing an extra set of lyrics to, making St. Athenogenes, from year 296, my oldest collaborator (unless you count the Psalms of King David.!?) Do you have a favourite hymn of God’s protection that you rely on, or a favourite bible verse?
I’m currently working on a musical setting for Psalm 91, and have done Psalm 96, but am looking for more favourites to set to music.
