This is Fly by Nick Drake. After uploading cover versions of Place To Be and Pink Moon, I really wanted to do Fly as well.
A good friend of mine gave me the Pink Moon album over 20 years ago and told me I should definitely give it a listen. I had never heard of Nick Drake before and immediately fell in love with the music. At the beginning of the year, I read Richard Morton Jack's biography of Nick Drake and delved even deeper into the Nick Drake universe. While reading, I thought how nice it would be to practice all of Nick Drake's songs and upload them here. Since I also write and record my own songs, this could take quite a while. Oh, and every Sunday at 11 a.m., when the church bells start ringing, my dog Lyra starts barking. Fortunately, she only starts barking when the final chord fades away.
