Discovering the Hidden Gems of Shiraz: Eram Garden, Shiraz Gate, and Pasargad, Episode-3

Описание: In the last episode of this trip to the beautiful city of Shiraz, we visited 3 places. Eram Garden, Shiraz Gate and the historical site of the tomb of Cyrus.

Our first stop was the Eram Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most beautiful gardens in Iran. This 16th-century garden features a stunning collection of plants and trees, including towering cypress trees, fragrant roses, and vibrant fruit trees. The garden is also home to a magnificent palace, adorned with intricate tilework and featuring a peaceful reflecting pool.

Next, I visited the Gate of Shiraz, also known as the Quran Gate. This historical site is a unique attraction that features a Quran replica that sits atop the gate, welcoming visitors to the city. The gate is located on the outskirts of Shiraz, offering a breathtaking view of the city and the surrounding mountains.

My final stop was the historical site of Pasargad, located just outside of Shiraz. This site is home to the tomb of Cyrus the Great, the founder of the Achaemenid Empire. The tomb is a simple yet powerful monument that pays tribute to the great Persian leader. The site also features ancient ruins and remnants of the Persian Empire, offering a glimpse into the rich history of Iran.

Throughout my trip, I was struck by the beauty and tranquility of Shiraz. The city is a hidden gem that is often overlooked by tourists, but it offers a wealth of cultural and historical attractions to explore. Whether you're seeking stunning gardens, spiritual landmarks, or ancient tombs, Shiraz has something for everyone.
