After leaving Renmark, we crossed both the Victorian and New South Wales borders, making our way to Wentworth! Here, we explored the old Wentworth Gaol, a fascinating piece of history. Then, we visited the Murray-Darling Confluence, where the Murray River splits into the Darling River—and we captured some awesome drone footage of this incredible natural divide!
Our overnight stop was at a donation camp at Lake Benanee, before heading to Hay, NSW. Here, we found yet another historic gaol—though the inside left us a little disappointed, it still had some intriguing stories to tell. (Check out the ABC program about it—link below!)
The Silo Art in Hay was truly breathtaking, depicting Australian soldiers in an incredible tribute. And to top it off, we stayed at one of the best free camps we've ever experienced! 🌅
