Meidän kahden tie for Voice, Flute, Violin, Marimba and Piano Op.46 No.2 (2015)

Annually the musicians of Turku organize a Viennese concert that is played by the Turku philharmonic orchestra. I got an idea to compose a waltz for the soloists of the concert who perform single numbers and songs from famous operas and operettas. In this waltz the soprano and tenor sing in turns during the first and second verse. The third and final verse is sung in voices. The mood falls in the love/wedding waltz category and fits nicely in different kinds of concerts and happenings. It can be also performed solely by male or female voice. The text is by Sinikka Svärd who has collaborated with numerous Finnish artists.
