originally I wanted to use a 230V inverter for being able to use the original power supplies / chargers for charging batteries and other devices. However - as I then found out - those inverters come in to types: on-grid and off-grid. On-grid meaning you need to power them via a wall socket (or other constant 230V voltage source) in order to use them. Off-grid however means they are powered by the solar module itself. Unfortunately off-grid inverters are very expensive. So I had to figure out a different way to make use of the solar panel. As you will see in the video, I now use a DC-DC (step-up/ step-down) converter to achieve what I want. There's room for improvement though in regards to the power output.
