Jason Strecker (ASF Director) interviews Economist, researcher and recognised expert on guns and crime John Lott.

John has an impressive list of achievements:
He is President of the Crime Prevention Research Center in Utah (crimeresearch.org)
He has served as the Senior Advisor for Research and Statistics in the U.S. Department of Justice
He has held research and teaching positions at the University of Chicago, Yale, the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Stanford University, and UCLA
He holds a Ph.D. in economics from UCLA
And he is a published author of many works intended for the research community and lay audiences, including his book More Guns, Less Crime, whose first edition was published in 1998
