VHS Description:
The Western Great Lakes of Lake Superior and Lake Michigan include hundreds of lighthouses. This program includes the lighthouses of the wild and remote Isle Royal National Park and the lighthouses of the slightly more accessible Apostle Islands National Park.

South Atlantic lighthouses were often built to warn mariners away from the dangerous shoreline that stretches from the Outer Banks of North Carolina to the Lands End of Key West. These lighthouses stand as centerpieces of a varied and dynamic region, rich with character, cultures and history.

LEGENDARY LIGHTHOUSES is a series about lighthouses and the remarkably beautiful places where they are located. it offers the viewer an opportunity to rediscover the romance and the history of these fabled structures, up close and personal.
