If you are having the same problem I had, then this video should help. When your rear lift gate does not unlock, just follow my simple instructions in the video and you will be able to at least open your lift gate. I looked on Youtube for an answer to my problem and could not find anyone that posted a solution to get the lock open. Even the dealers and repair shops were not helpful, except to rip off the panel from the inside, which will probably end up breaking. I totally found the solution by accident and thank God I did!
