Wondering how to turn your Cassava Root into Cassava Four?
Cassava is a root much like a hard sweet potato, that can be eaten as a cooked vegetable, mashed like a potato, or ground into flour and used for baking many delicious treats. In our travels to Philippines in 2019 we harvested some Cassava roots to bring back to the states with us. My sister in law pealed the hard skin off, cleaned it, sliced it and dried it in the tropical Philippine sun. (thank you Marilou) We brought it back to the states with us and put it in the freezer where it stayed for over a year before finding an economical way to turn it into flour.
