Excessive use of urea, DAP, and sulphur-rich fertilizer can increase the acidity of soil. Considering the concentration of soil acidity, different crop species are suitable for different ranges of acid soil. Acidic soil can be managed by applying lime and following the crop-specific fertilizer recommendations.
Farmers can get information about resilient crop selection, cultivation procedures, weather forecasts, and fertilizer doses from the Khamari mobile phone app.
