This is Jeff.
Jeff doesn’t realise he’s made a big biosecurity blunder!
Like most of us, biosecurity wasn’t on Jeff’s mind when returning from his holiday. Australia has rules about what you can and can’t bring home, and what things need special cleaning or treatments.
By not declaring, Jeff has introduced a new pest to Australia.
As you can see, these bugs make Susan’s morning run more painful, means Rodney can’t take his family on picnics anymore and Jeff’s neighbours feel the effects too.
Thankfully, this can all be avoided.
Nana Joy knows what to do.
Jeff may think he lives in a bubble, but the rest of us don’t.
Biosecurity is everyone’s responsibility; it affects what we eat, how we earn our living and what we do for fun.
