One-of-a-Kind Aerobatics: Monosport 360 (Staudacher Wing Design) | Madison Indiana Airshow 2025

Описание: This is the Monosport 360 (N5K), a one-of-a-kind custom aerobatic aircraft designed, built, and flown by Mike Hoy. While the beautiful red, white, and blue paint scheme is a direct homage to Leo Loudenslager’s World Champion "Laser 200," underneath the skin, this is a modern evolution of the concept.

THE DESIGN: Mike built this aircraft around a high-performance wing designed by Jon Staudacher, famous for creating incredibly stiff, high-roll-rate wings for unlimited aerobatics. The combination of the Staudacher wing and Mike's custom fuselage resulted in a machine so well-crafted that it won the "Plans Outstanding Workmanship" award at EAA AirVenture in 2021.

THE PILOT: Mike Hoy (Oshkosh, WI) is a competition pilot and master builder. He spent years perfecting this aircraft to fit him specifically, resulting in a plane that is as responsive as it is beautiful.
