In this quick demo, I show how to scan an RFID card with an Arduino and MFRC522 reader, then display the card’s unique ID directly on a 2×16 I2C LCD screen!
The sketch reads the card’s UID in real-time, shows it on the serial monitor and on the LCD in hexadecimal format, and checks if it’s one of the authorised cards.
A green or red LED lights up to indicate access granted or denied.
Perfect for beginners exploring RFID projects with Arduino.
