This is SAM Oversight.
In this video I document the Mandel Public Library in West Palm Beach, Florida from the publicly accessible areas.
Multiple signs at the entrance state that recording is prohibited unless permission has been granted. Inside the library, staff told me I could not record without permission and requested that I stop recording them.
Security ultimately called law enforcement — and Officer Santana (who I encountered previously at West Palm Beach City Hall) responded again.
This documentation is part of an ongoing series involving public access, city policy, and the public’s right to observe government-operated facilities.
