When to spay or neuter a dog is one of the most common questions I get. Since so many dogs are killed because people who have dogs are irresponsible, I often answer the question from the animal rights standpoint - I don't like to see dogs at shelters. But the bottom line is that keeping dogs intact is not the worst thing. BUT YOU MUST BE RESPONSIBLE.
