Elsie McWilliams was an American musician and songwriter, co-writer of 39 songs with Jimmie Rodgers. Born June 1, 1896 in Harperville, Mississippi, and died on December 30, 1985 in Meridian, Mississippi.

McWilliams was the sister of Jimmie Rodgers second wife Carrie. When Rodgers and Carrie married in 1920, Elsie and Rogers formed a dance band, with McWilliams playing piano and singing in the band. Rodgers asked McWilliams to help with songwriting and McWilliams agreed, traveling to recording sessions and collaborating. Rodgers could not read music, so McWilliams would play the songs and he would learn them by ear.

Elsie wrote music and lyrics, though often didn't receive full credit for her work. Because of Rodgers' poor health at the time, McWilliams would often let Rodgers take full credit or give him the money she received as payment for her work to him to help his family. Still, she became one of the first women to sustain a successful career as a country songwriter. Among the songs McWilliams wrote or co-wrote with Jimmie Rodgers include: ''My Old Pal'' (1928), ''The Sailor’s Plea'' (1928), ''You And My Old Guitar'' (1928), My Little Lady (1928, ''Never No Mo’ Blues'' (1928), and ''Mississippi Moon'' (1928). She was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1979.

James Charles Rodgers was an American country singer, guitarist and songwriter, born September 8, 1897 in Meridian, Mississippi and died May 26, 1933 in New York City, New York. In the early 20th century known most widely for his rhythmic yodeling. Among the first country music superstars and pioneers, Rodgers was also known as The Singing Brakeman, The Blue Yodeler, and The Father of Country Music. Rogers is inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1970, the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and into Country Music Hall of Fame in 1961. Jimmy Rodgers was the first artist to ever have a release issued as a picture disc (in 1933) ''Jimmie Rodgers - Cowhand's Last Ride / Blue Yodel No.12''.

Ronny Weiser (born 1946 in Milan, Italy), also known as Rockin' Ronny Weiser, is an American record producer and founder of rockabilly record label Rollin' Rock.

In Milan, Ronny discovered American rock and roll and rockabilly watching an Elvis Presley film, ''Loving You''. Upon immigrating to the United States in the 1960s, he published a rockabilly fanzine called Rollin' Rock, which evolved into full-fledged record label Rollin' Rock. In 1970, Rollin' Rock started reissuing 1950s recordings, and eventually recorded and released new recordings by 1950s artists such as Ray Campi, Mac Curtis, Gene Vincent, Alvis Wayne, Charlie Feathers, Johnny Carroll, Bill Haley's Comets, Narvel Felts and contemporary rockabilly artists such as The Blasters during the 1970s and 1980s.
