For over 500 hours, I've been designing, building, and testing a crazy project with two seemingly impossible constraints: a sea scooter hull 3D printed in a single part, and a truly wireless system with no holes, shafts, or seals. This wasn't just a simple print-in-place; it required embedding a motor, batteries, and all the electronics directly into the print!

In this video, I'll walk you through the entire 3D printing process and reveal the clever engineering behind this unique DIY sea scooter. You'll see how I tackle complex challenges like:

Waterproofing the 3D-printed hull with a custom pressure test rig.

Designing and Embedding a fascinating magnetic gear for a non-contact drive system into the hull.

Creating a compact custom battery pack and a wireless charging system to power everything inside the sealed hull.

Developing a wireless throttle using magnetic sensors.
