A popular passage is one that he reads with Rabbi Heshy Grossman. Found in tractate Bava Kamma, page 22a, it is an argument between Rabbi Yochanan and Reish Lakish.

"Why are you obligated for your fire?" This is the question that drives the debate between these two Rabbis. Israel immediately challenges the premise of this conversation. Deconstructing the arguments and pointing to the irrelevance of such a discussion.

God obligates you for your fire. Period. This is explicitly stated in Parshat Mishpatim, Exodus 22:5. The Talmud introduces this ridiculous question, as to whether fire is comparable to shooting an arrow or to your money/property. What a needless conversation!

Rabbi Heshy Grossman then responds, saying that this is the greatest question asked by the Rabbis who comment on the Talmud. His closing statement is that we'd have to read 50 pages, in order to find out the answer. But of course this entire endeavor is useless. It adds no value to life, law, and truth - in fact it takes away, leading to borderline insanity. God's word in the Torah is clear, while the Rabbis' words in the Talmud are confusing and meaningless.
