Things your kids will actually want to do in Cusco, Peru

🍫A mini chocolate workshop at ChocoMuseo (45 minutes and only $15). We left with LOADS of chocolate.

🪨The rock slide at Sacsayhuamán (the kids could’ve done it all day). There are smaller ones off to the left that worked as a great warm up to build their confidence (and my comfort)

⚽️Going to a fútbol match at Estadio Garcilaso—such a fun, high-energy memory (just avoid the cheapest seats, they’re the rowdiest).

🥅Parque El Bosque where they jumped into pickup soccer games with local kids and loved the playground. (1-3 soles per person to enter)

⛲The Sapantiana Aqueduct, where they found another soccer field and enjoyed jumping the creek back and forth.

🧶Their favorite souvenirs were crocheted Pokémon with little chullo hats by @crochetlandia_cusco. (Send her a message if your kids are Pokemon obsessed too!) We also bought them a soccer ball which earned its keep throughout our 2 weeks in Peru.

🍩And of course, try picarones (Peruvian doughnuts) and Queso Helado (Cheese Ice Cream)
