FFXI HTBM Cloud of Darkness VD (Very Difficult) RDM SOLO (The Orb's Radiance)

Описание: Currently this fight in VD is feasible with Cornelia to cap haste and additional Acc/Macc; and with new AF+4, Alabaster R15+ and Murky R15+ for additional Acc/Macc and Haste.
Buffs: Do NOT use Phalanx or Shell before absortion phase, because those buffs can be absorbed, making the fight more difficult. If any of those buffs are absorbed during absortion phase or by Absorb Attri spell, use Stymie+Dispel. Use Enaero (recommended), Enfire or Enthunder.
Debuffs: Silence, Paralyze II, Slow II, Addle II and Gravity II. Poison II maybe it is only worth when Saboteur is active, as it takes several Immunobreaks to land. Use Dia III only at the begining and do not reapply, because if the initial cast do damage, it feeds TP. Prioritize Saboteur, Stymie, Spontainety and Chainspell to reapply Silence.
Fight: Use Seraph Blade until 80% and try to use last Seraph Blade just at 80-81% to do as much damage as possible before absortion phase. During absortion phase, check with a low tier elemental spell (ex. Water) if boss absorb physical or magical, if absorb physical you can attack with enspell (or problably enspell+Seraph Blade), if absorb magical you can turn off enspell and smash with Savage Blade.
After absortion phase, use stoneskin immediately, recast absorbed buffs, equip 0 dmg Enspell gear and keep debuffs and stoneskin up to negate damage and avoid CoD to gain TP. Cast Utsusemi as less as possible to maximize damage, Utsusemi is useful when Silence wears off in order to absorb the spell before Silence lands again. Gravity II is good in case something goes wrong and you need to move far to recast Utsusemi or Stoneskin avoiding boss hitting you meanwhile. Gain-MND seems good now during enspell part of the fight for Paralyze II and Slow II, as Gain-DEX is not needed with this setup. Recommended to fight on Windsday to maximize Enaero damage and Silence. Food: Marine Stewpot.
