In this video i will show you how to make the chemical Copper(I)Chloride, which is a salt of copper. The chemical is almost insoluble in both water and ethanol, and will collect under a layer of water, since CuCl is much denser than water. The powder is white and burns with a bright blue colour. Copper(I)Chloride oxidizes fairly quickly in both water and air, but this kan be slowed down, by adding diluted hydrochloric acid. If you add concentrated HCl, the whole mixture will become a almost black liquid. If this liquid is diluted again with water (you will have to try adding water until the colour doesn't change anymore, since i don't know the ideal conc.).
